Samsung hosted its much-awaited Galaxy Unpacked event today. Along with the foldable, the South Korean tech giant also unveiled its new lineup of wearables. This includes the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. The lineup looks promising, let’s take a look at what Samsung has to offer.
Speaking about the Galaxy Watch Ultra first, Samsung claims that it is the most powerful smartwatch in its portfolio. With the Galaxy Watch Ultra, you get a 47mm dial with a titanium frame and up to 10 ATM water resistance. Plus this watch offers up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. There’s also a new Quick Button on the watch. With this button, you can directly initiate and control workouts.
As we expect, it has multiple modes as well to cater to different athletic needs. There’s a new Multi-sports tile and Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for cycling too. For battery, Samsung claims that the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers up to 100 hours of playtime in power-saving mode and 48 hours in exercise power-saving mode.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is available in three colours: Titanium Gray, Titanium White, and Titanium Silver.
Coming to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro now. This time you are getting a new design and as per Samsung, a comfortable fit too. These canal-type earbuds offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) quality through Adaptive EQ and Adaptive ANC. You also get voice commands and an interpreter in listening mode which you can use with Galaxy Z Fold6 or Flip6 to translate. You get two-way speakers on it.
These buds provide up to 6 hours of playback time and up to 30 hours of playback time with the case on a single charge.
In addition to the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Samsung also unveiled Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Buds 3. The Galaxy Watch 7 packs a 3nm processor which offers an enhanced performance. It is available in two different sizes: 40mm and 44mm. Plus you get Green and Cream with the 40mm variant and Green and Silver with the 44mm one. It also offers new watch bands for all style-conscious people.
As far as the Galaxy Buds 3 is concerned, the Galaxy Buds3 offers most of the features of the Buds 3 Pro. You get features like Adaptive Noise Control, Siren Detect, and Voice Detect on it too. One major difference between both smartwatches is that the Galaxy Watch 7 provides lesser playback time. They offer up to 5 hours of playback time with the ANC on and up to 30 hours of playback time with the ANC off.
