According to the extracted strings, it seems users could have the ability to activate Lost mode through the app. When the ring is misplaced and requires assistance to locate, the app is expected to offer the option to activate a light embedded within the ring, causing it to blink.

Moreover, the app will likely provide feedback to the user, indicating whether the light is indeed blinking or if there are connectivity issues preventing the activation.

Furthermore, Lost mode appears to offer additional security measures, allowing users to lock their Samsung accounts directly from the app. This precaution would ensure that unauthorised individuals cannot use the Galaxy Ring or access sensitive information linked to the user’s account.

The Lost mode feature would indeed be a valuable asset for users who may find themselves in the unfortunate circumstance of misplacing their smart ring. Its ability to activate a blinking light and secure the Samsung account could add an extra layer of convenience and security for retrieval.

Since this information stems from an APK teardown, it’s uncertain when or if this feature will be officially rolled out to users.
