According to reports, Microsoft is developing a cross-platform smartwatch that will be launched in October. The smartband is expected to have 11 inbuilt sensors, Open API's and much more.
Microsoft is reportedly planning to launch a smartwatch with the ability to continuously track your heart rate and sync the data to your devices. The device will also have cross-platform compatibility. Now sources have added that the display of the watch will be on the inside of the wrist and says that turning your palm up to look at the watch actually feels a lot more natural.
The Microsoft smartband will have a slim band design and will come with inbuilt 11 sensors. The wearable will have open APIs and reports state that the interface is pretty "slick". Sources have also confirmed that the device will be launched in October at the same time as the Apple iWatch is expected to debut.
A Microsoft spokesman however, would not comment on the details, "Microsoft does not comment on rumors or speculation."
Google has officially launched two new smartwatches at Google I/O and released the Android Wear SDK to developers. Android based the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live are already launched while the Moto 360 will be launched over the summer.
The LG G smartwatch has been priced at Rs 14,999 and Samsung's Gear Live costs Rs 15,900. Both the devices run on Android Wear operating system and are already available at the Google India Play Store. The G Watch is already available for purchase, while the Galaxy Gear Live is listed as 'coming soon'.
