Redmi has announced that it will launch a new smartwatch–Redmi Watch 5 Active– in India next week. The company also revealed the Redmi Watch 5 Active’s design, colour options, and key specifications. On X (formerly Twitter), the company announced that the Redmi Watch 5 Active will be launched in India on August 27th.

Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed key specifications of the Redmi Watch 5 Active smartwatch. It is confirmed to sport a 2-inch display. The Watch 5 Active is said to offer up to 18 days of battery life. This watch will come with ‘Clear+’ calling.
Furthermore, the Redmi Watch 5 Active offers over 140 sports modes. On the software front, the Redmi Watch will run HyperOS. The smartwatch will also come with Alexa built-in.
According to the watch’s images shared by the company, we expect the Redmi Watch 5 Active to come with health features including heart rate monitoring.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active is confirmed to be available in India in two colour options: White and Black. Redmi is expected to launch more colour options for the watch’s straps.
