The Oppo Inno Day 2022 was held recently via an online broadcast. The event was titled ‘Empowering a Better Future’, and it revealed new technologies developed by the brand as a part of its new Four Smart Initiatives. These initiatives include smart health, smart productivity, smart entertainment, and smart learning. One of the devices it unveiled was the Oppo Air Glass 2.
The Oppo Air Glass 2 is an augmented reality product that weighs only 38 grams. It supports personalisation features and image correction and is said to be hard to distinguish when compared with regular glasses.
You can use the product to access navigation features and make phone calls. It will also perform translations in real-time. Additionally, people with hearing impairments can use it in order to read sounds as text.
The Oppo Air Glass 2 follows the Oppo Air Glass, which was launched last year in December. The cool thing about this product was that the lenses on the glasses were customisable, so no matter what your prescription is, you can add it onto the glass and wear it as your daily glasses, just with better functionality. The lenses of the glasses are made with a silicon-based Micro LED display. The display has a single pixel of only 4 microns along with a maximum brightness of 3 million nits.
The Air Glass runs on the Snapdragon 4100 wearable device platform. It has a battery capacity of around 10.5 hours.
