Meta Ray Ban smart glasses added WhatsApp video calling and new AI features
Meta has added new updates to the smart glasses to make them even more cool.
You will get an AI assistant who will analyse your surroundings, and give you feedback.
This is also similar to what Humane AI Pin does.
Ever since Meta and Ray Ban collaborated on the Meta Ray Ban Smart Glasses, I have been resisting my urge to buy these pretty cool sunglasses. But now these guys are giving me all the more reasons to go and buy it. I mean the glasses in themselves are pretty dope, right? On the face of it, they are your basic sunglasses, but then they come with built-in speakers, a camera, and microphones that allow you to record videos, take pictures, and whatever. Now Meta has added new updates to these glasses to make the glasses even more cool. Read along for details.

What are the new features of Meta Ray Ban Smart Glasses?
Meta has loaded AI features into the Meta Ray Ban smart glasses. You will get an AI assistant who will analyse your surroundings, and give you feedback. Pretty much like Tony Stark’s Jarvis. So if you need to understand anything around you, you can rely on it. Guess Mark Zuckerberg is a big Marvel fanboy.
I’ll give you an easy example of how this will work. Let’s suppose you went to France, you are really hungry and want to grab a bite but the menu at the restaurant that you’re at is completely in French. You can now ask Jarvis, sorry I mean Meta Ray Ban Smart Glasses translate it for you. Your glasses’ camera and Meta AI will then work their magic out. This is also similar to what Humane AI Pin does.
After a lot of work, the update has been rolled out as Beta versions for users in the US and Canada. In addition to this, you can even make video calls using WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. You can now quite literally share your POV with your friends and family, good or bad is your choice buddy.
In addition to this, Meta and Ray Ban have introduced some new designs and colours for the glasses too, including Skyler frames. The whole package sounds pretty cool, right? Let me know if I should buy it or not.
