Huawei launched the Watch GT 2 in India on December 5. The smartwatch succeeds the Huawei Watch GT that was launched earlier this year. After being launched in international markets in September, the Huawei Watch GT 2 has made its way to India. The company claims that its new product has a 14-day battery life. It comes with features like stress monitoring, heart-rate tracking, sleep tracking and more. It comes in two dial sizes – 42mm and 46mm.
Huawei Watch GT 2 features a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with 390×390-pixel resolution on the 42mm variant, while the 46mm model gets a bigger 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. The wearable has support for Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS. In the sensors department, it has an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart-rate sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, and a capacitive sensor.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 is powered by the Kirin A1 SoC that was launched exclusively for wearable devices. Both variants are water-resistant up to 5ATM. The 46mm model packs a 455mAh battery, which is said to last up to 14 days. In contrast, the 42mm model packs a 215mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 7 days. The users can also answer a call right from the Watch GT 2, thanks to the on-board speaker.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 comes with 15 sports tracking functionality. It includes eight outdoor sports such as running, walking, climbing, hiking trail running, cycling, open water, triathlon and seven indoor sports such as walking, running, cycling, swimming pool, free training, elliptical machine, and rowing machine.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm Sport (Black) is priced at Rs 15,990, 46mm Leather Sport is priced at Rs 17,990, and the 46mm Titanium Grey (Metal) is priced at Rs 21,990. The lone 42mm Black variant will cost users Rs 14,990. The company is also offering a Huawei Freelace earphones worth Rs. 6,999 for free to buyers who book the 46mm Watch GT 2 models between December 12 and 18.
