Garmin India launches Forerunner 945 GPS-enabled Running Smartwatch

Garmin has refreshed its flagship Forerunner series of smartwatches by launching the Forerunner 945 in India. The device is packed with dedicated modes for different sporting activities, be it swimming, cycling, running, paddle sports or any other. The device is also capable of holding a total of 1000 songs on the watch itself. It is also equipped with features like aerobic and anaerobic training effect.
It also has safety and tracking features, such as incident detection and real-time location tracking. The Forerunner 945 is currently available in two colours: blue and black. It is priced at Rs 59,990. You can grab this watch from online stores like Amazon.in, Paytm Mall and Myntra. In addition, you can find it at select retail stores.

With the Forerunner 945, the company has also focused on user entertainment by adding onboard storage worth 1000 songs. The watch also lets you sync from music streaming services, like Spotify, adding to your overall experience on the go.
Advanced Physio Features and Measurement
Just like any other advanced smartwatch, the Forerunner 945 monitors your daily performance and suggests personalised insights accordingly. The watch tracks VO2 Max to analyse the amount of oxygen a person can utilise during intense workouts. It also tracks recovery time, aerobic and anaerobic training effect especially meant for runners. Additionally, the watch is capable of wrist-based heart tracking.
Safety and Tracking Features
Garmin has added a built-in incident detection feature, which shares your location automatically with your chosen contacts. The same happens if a fall or hit is detected in the user.
Battery life
The company claims that the watch delivers up to 2 weeks of battery life in smartwatch mode, up to 10 hours in GPS mode with music, 40 hours in GPS mode without music, and up to 60 hours in Ultratrac mode.
