Asus ZenWatch 3 with Android Wear, circular display launched at IFA 2016
The company also says that the ZenWatch 3 will offer a two-day long battery life
Asus has unveiled the ZenWatch 3 wearable at IFA 2016. The device runs Android Wear and is the first in the ZenWatch series to sport a round display. The smartwatch is made using “jewelry-grade” 316L stainless steel and is available in three finishes, Gunmetal, Silver, and Rose Gold. The strap of the wearable are available in two options, stitched Italian leather or high quality rubber, and each is available in dark brown or beige colours. The watch also come with three buttons, and the top button can be assigned a custom functionality.
Asus also says that the ZenWatch 3 can provide a two-day long battery life. Further, the wearable comes with HyperCharge technology, which the company says can reach 60 percent charge in 15 minutes. Asus also offers an optional battery pack that provides 40 percent more battery life. The Asus ZenWatch 3 offers 30 watch faces that can be changed via the ZenWatch Manager smartphone app. Some faces can even support customisable widgets that can display information such as the weather, daily step count, and so forth. Users can also create their own watch faces with the FaceDesigner smartphone app.
