Today is the day that everyone has been waiting for a really long time. Apple is hosting its “Glowtime” event today at Apple Park where it will unveil the new iPhone 16 lineup. The new iPhone 16 lineup can include the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Along with that, Apple Intelligence will take centre stage. Previous rumours suggest that Apple could also unveil the Apple Watch 3 Ultra. But there’s a possibility that it might not happen.
Apple analyst Mark Gurman recently took to X (formerly Twitter) that there is a possibility that Apple might only focus on Apple Intelligence and the new iPhones. It might skip on the Apple Watch 3 Ultra. Instead, he said that Apple can give us an additional option with the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
He tweeted, “I don’t expect Apple to announce an Apple Watch Ultra 3 tomorrow. Instead, I expect the Ultra 2 to stick around and — finally — gain a black color option.” To this, he further added that the new Apple Watch SE, however, might also see a delay in launch. Other rumours also suggest that Apple might add on some health tracking features to the Watch Ultra 2 to make it more lucrative.
Well, we don’t have to wait for really long to find out if this is true or not and what devices Apple will drop during the Glowtime event. However, one thing is confirmed the new iPhone 16 series is coming with Apple Intelligence. Furthermore, we are not sure about other announcements but AI will be booming at Apple’s Glowtime event. The event will take place at 10.30 PM IST, so just a couple of hours to go.
