Xiaomi launches Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K series with Fire TV OS: Price, features, and more

Xiaomi has unveiled two new models under the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K series. This includes a 55-inch variant and a 43-inch variant. The company promises improved entertainment and overall picture quality. With this, Xiaomi is also promising a seamless user interface, with easy access to a wide array of streaming platforms.

Let’s take a look at what this TV has to offer. So, Xiaomi says that an advantage of these TVs is that they all run on Amazon’s Fire TV OS. This is something that differentiates these Redmi Smart TV 4k series from others that run on Google TV.

As per Xiaomi and Amazon, the Fire TV OS will offer a more seamless user interface. With it, you will also get an easy compatibility with Amazon’s ecosystem. This includes Amazon Alexa too.

Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K series features

Both of these TVs offer a 4K HDR display. So this offers vibrant colours. It also comes along with the MEMC (Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation) technology which ensures smooth motion handling. Because of this, the action scenes are fluid and sharp.

The 55-inch model packs a 30W speaker system, while the 43-inch variant has 24W speakers. Additionally, both TVs run on a 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage.

Let us now take a look at the prices and availability of these TVs if you are planning to buy them. The 43-inch model is priced at Rs 23,499, and the larger 55-inch variant is priced at Rs 34,499.
