Samsung has started accepting reservation of the new Neo QLED TVs in India.
There is 4K QN85A TV and 8K QN700A TV.
Both Samsung Neo QLED TVs are HDR10+ and Dolby 5.1 sound supported.
Update: Samsung has also released the following models of Neo QLED 8K TVs in India — QN900B (85-inch), QN800B (65- and 75-inch), QN700B (65-inch). As for Neo QLED 4K TVs, these are the available models in the country — QN95B (55-, 65-inch), QN90B (85-, 75-, 65-, 55-, 50-inch), and QN85B (55-, 65-inch). Their pricing, availability, and launch offers are added below.
A few months after debuting its Neo QLED TVs at CES 2022, Samsung has brought down both the QN700A Neo QLED 8K Smart TV and QN85A Neo QLED Smart TV to India. Both feature the Neo Quantum picture processor, Dolby 5.1 audio support, four HDMI ports and Tizen operating systems. However, there are some key differences too between the two Neo QLED sets available in India.

Samsung QN700A Neo QLED 8K Smart TV
The QN700A TV is available in a 65-inch model at the time of writing. It delivers 8K resolution engined by Neo Quantum Processor Lite. There is support for HDR10+ and HLG video formats, as well as native 4K@144Hz gameplay on certain models. Samsung also highlights the use of Quantum Matrix Technology for picture contrast using finer light control. Visuals aside, you are getting Dolby 5.1 backed 70W 4.2.2 Channel speaker setup.
You could also listen over Bluetooth 5.2. Even audio transmission over HDMI eARC is possible. Speaking of which, 4x HDMI ports are present on the QN700 Neo QLED TV along with 3x USB, 1x Composite In (AV), 1x Digital Audio Out (Optical), and WiFi 6.
Among other things, Samsung has also stowed in SmartThings app, Battery-free remote, voice assistant, and Microsoft 365. The OS is Tizen only.
Samsung QN85A Neo QLED 4K Smart TV
Samsung offers the QN85A TV in 55, 65, 75-inches. It has got 4K resolution, 60W 2.2.2 channel speakers, and 2 USB ports. The rest of the offering is pretty much the same as the 8K model.
Samsung Neo QLED TVs Price and availability
You can pre-order the Neo QLED TVs from Samsung website and Samsung Shop from April 7 to April 18, 2022. The prices are as follows:
- 55-inch Samsung QN85A QLED 4K Smart TV: ₹1,48,990
- 65-inch Samsung QN85A QLED 4K Smart TV: ₹2,14,990
- 75-inch Samsung QN85A QLED 4K Smart TV: ₹4,24,990
- 65-inch Samsung QN700A QLED 8K Smart TV: ₹3,19,990
The company has announced that the Neo QLED 8K TVs will also be available in QN900B (85-inch), QN800B (65- and 75-inch), QN700B (65-inch) models starting from a price of ₹3,24,990. Meanwhile, the Neo QLED 4K TVs will be available in QN95B (55-, 65-inch), QN90B (85-, 75-, 65-, 55-, 50-inch), and QN85B (55-, 65-inch) models as well and their prices will start from ₹1,14,990 onwards.
In the press release, the company notes, that as a introductory offer, consumers buying Neo QLED 8K TVs between April 19-30, 2022 will get a Samsung Soundbar (HW-Q990B) worth INR 1,49,900 free along with the SlimFit Cam worth INR 8,900. Consumers purchasing Neo QLED TVs will get SlimFit Cam worth INR 8,900 along with their purchase. Consumers who had pre-reserved the Neo QLED 8K and Neo QLED TVs can avail discounts worth INR 10,000 and INR 5,000 respectively.
Moreover, you can pre-reserve the 4K Neo QLED TV (QN85A) for ₹5000 and get a discount of ₹10000 at the time of purchase and similarly, book the 8K QLED TV (QN700A) for ₹10,000 and enjoy discount of ₹20,000 while buying it. That's all about the new Samsung TVs in India.
