Realme Smart TVs said to launch in India in Q2 2020
Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has teased the launch of the Realme TV.
The company is said to launch multiple TVs in India.
Users will be able to control the Realme TV along with other Realme IoT devices via a mobile app.
Realme India is said to launch multiple TVs in India in Q2 2020. The information comes from Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth. He appeared in a YouTube video where he shared information about the upcoming TVs. He also shared information about the Realme Link app. The app will be your one-stop shop to controlling Realme’s IoT enabled devices. This will include TVs and wearables from Realme. If all the necessary approvals are taken, we could see the TVs launching in April 2020. Realme has been competing with brands like Xiaomi in India in the budget smartphone space and it looks like they will take on Xiaomi in the TV space as well.
Other information about the TV comes from Francis Wang, CMO of Realme India. In a Tweet, he says, “What is this?” with a picture that reads, “Real Sound. Real Design. Real Clarity. Chosen for India.” Could this really be the Realme TV? In another Tweet, we have Francis Wang and Madhav Sheth leaning against a container in style. The container has the text “Dare to Leap" written on it. The tweet reads, “We will open this container for India customers in March.”
