LeEco has launched three Super TVs in India. Called the Super3 series, the pricing for the TVs starts from Rs. 59,790 and goes all the way up to Rs. 1,49,790. The 3 televisions in the series are named – Super3 X55, Super3 X65, and Super3 Max65. All three feature 4K UHD displays and are powered by 1.4Ghz quad-core SoC, and a Mali T760 MP4 GPU. Further, the devices offer a metal body and run eUI 5.5. Pre-orders for the TVs start from August 10.
The lowest priced device is the Super3 X55, which sports a 55-inch panel and offers 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. It also features 20W 2.0 stereo speakers. In the middle is the Super3 X65, which features a 65-inch panel and is priced at Rs. 99,790. It sports 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 20W 2.1 stereo speakers. The most expensive is the Super3 Max65, which also features a 65-inch panel, but with 3D. Like the X66, the Max65 offers 3GB RAM and 16GB storage, but sports 40W 2.1 stereo speakers. LeEco is also offering a two year warranty on the product, along with a four year warranty on the TV’s panel.
The TVs also come bundled with a two-year subscription to LeEco’s own content ecosystem, worth Rs. 9,800. The ecosystem is similar to what it offers with its smartphones. The company has partnered with Yupp TV, Eros Now and Hungama to offer live TV, movies, as well as music. Hopefully, Xiaomi will take note and launch its lineup of Mi TVs in India soon.
LeEco has been planning to launch its Super TVs in India for a while now. Last month, the company’s COO, Atul Jain had said that the company was planning to launch TVs this month and added that LeEco was going to start making devices in the country by the end of September. The company will initially manufacture smartphones, followed by the TVs.
