Daiwa launches 4K smart TVs running on WebOS starting at Rs 34,999

In India, Daiwa has launched TVs running on WebOS.

The new TVs are available in 43-inch and 55-inch screen sizes.

LG’s WebOS has evolved a lot during the past few years and while we have the new WebOS 6 available on 2021 LG TVs, WebOS 5 has started making an appearance on other TVs. Made in India TV maker Daiwa has launched two TVs running on WebOS – a 43-inch and a 55-inch 4K TV priced at Rs 34,999 and Rs 49,999 respectively. Let’s dive in see what these TVs bring to the table. 

Daiwa 43-inch and 55-inch WebOS TV specifications and features

Both the 43-inch and 55-inch TVs are 4K TVs and as we’ve mentioned above, run on LG’s WebOS platform. Both TVs are powered by an ARM CA55 1.1 GHz Quad-core processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage. You get access to a host of streaming services on the TV including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar, Spotify and many more. The TV also comes with a Magic remote and also supports voice controls including Alexa built-in. 

The TVs have a 96% screen to body ratio and come with slim bezels. They offer 20W of sound output along with support for Dolby Audio. In addition to 4K, the TVs also support HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma). The TVs have a refresh rate of 60Hz. The TVs also support ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), for those of you that wish to connect a gaming console to the TV like a PS5 or Xbox Series X. 
 
The 43-inch and 55-inch Daiwa WebOS TVs also support dual-band, Miracast and 2 way Bluetooth 5.0. 

According to the press release shared, “Daiwa is the first Indian brand to introduce UHD Smart TVs powered by webOS TV. Existing users of the recently launched model 126cm (50) D50U1WOS 4K UHD Smart TV powered by webOS TV can now download the newly released software update to enjoy the Alexa built-in feature”. 

Daiwa 43-inch and 55-inch WebOS TV price and availability

The 43-inch TV is priced at Rs 34,999 while the 55-inch TV is priced at Rs 49,999 respectively and are already available at leading retail stores in India with a 12-month complete warranty and additional 12 months on panel warranty.
