If you are a Vodafone Idea user then there is good news for you. There are a bunch of prepaid plans that Vodafone Idea is offering that gives users double the daily data. There are also some other plans which may not offer double the data but are enticing propositions. The validity of the double data plans goes up to 84 days, but there are plans with a validity of 365 days as well for those interested. The double data plans are ideal for those that are sitting at home during the lockdown period and don't have access to decent broadband but can consume content on their smartphone. This could be playing games online with friends, streaming movies and TV shows or simply social networking and staying in touch with friends through entertaining video calling options. So let's dive into the details of these plans.
Rs 249 plan: This plan comes within a validity of 28 days and thanks to the double data offering, gives users 3GB data per day (1.5GB+1.5GB). It comes with unlimited calling for the validity period. It also comes with a limit of 100 SMSes and access to Vodafone Play and Zee5.
Rs 399 plan: This plan comes within a validity of 56 days and thanks to the double data offering, gives users 3GB data per day (1.5GB+1.5GB). It comes with unlimited calling for the validity period. It also comes with a limit of 100 SMSes and access to Vodafone Play and Zee5.
Rs 599 plan: This plan comes within a validity of 84 days and thanks to the double data offering, gives users 3GB data per day (1.5GB+1.5GB). It comes with unlimited calling for the validity period. It also comes with a limit of 100 SMSes and access to Vodafone Play and Zee5.
There are a bunch of other plans as well that offer users 2GB and 3GB daily data but when you compare the price to value with the double data plans, it just makes more sense to exploit the double data plan as long as they are available. For example, there is a Rs 699 plan that gives users 2GB daily data and a validity of 84 days. Why would someone pay Rs 100 more when compared to the 599 plan and get 1GB data less per day? Similarly, we have the Rs 558 plan which gives users 3GB data daily and a validity of 56 days making it far more expensive than the Rs 399 double data plan that offers the same benefits.
