Vodafone announces Rs 19 recharge plan similar to Reliance Jio's offerings with unlimited calling and data benefits
Vodafone India has announced a new integrated voice and data plans called Vodafone SuperDay and Vodafone SuperWeek. The two plans allow its prepaid customers to enjoy unlimited local and STD calls with free bundled data starting at Rs. 19.
"We are delighted to launch SuperDay and SuperWeek under our ‘Super’ umbrella with the key objective of offering pocket-friendly and affordable integrated plans that will appeal to the prepaid customers. These plans will further enable our customers to remain confidently connected and enjoy a worry free Vodafone SuperNet 4G experience on our best network ever. Moreover, these integrated plans come with unrestricted repeat purchase options ensuring more value to the customer," said Sandeep Kataria, Director – Commercial, Vodafone India.
Vodafone SuperDay offer is priced at Rs. 19 and offers unlimited local and STD calls within its own network. The plan also offers 100MB data on a 4G handset and 50MB data on a non-4G handset. As the name implies, the recharge offer comes with a validity of one day.
Priced at Rs. 49 and Rs. 89, the Vodafone SuperWeek packs offers validity of seven days. With the Rs. 49 SuperWeek recharge, Vodafone users will get unlimited local and STD calling within Vodafone's own network and 250MB bundled 4G data. The Rs. 89 pack, is pretty much the same as the Rs. 49 pack, but offers an additional 100 minutes of free calls to other networks . Vodafone says that its SuperDay and SuperWeek recharge packs will be available across all retail outlets and prices might vary according to circles. To recall, Reliance Jio also offers unlimited calls and 200MB 4G data for Prime members with a Rs. 19 recharge.
