Vodafone India has announced two new prepaid plans that are priced at Rs 158 and Rs 151 respectively. Both plans offer unlimited voice calling and a validity period of 28 days. The report by TelecomTalk also notes that the plans are only valid in Kerala for now.

The Rs 158 plan offers unlimited voice calling that includes local, STD and roaming calls. It also offers 1GB of 3G/4G data per day. The Rs 151 plan is pretty much the same as the Rs 158 plan, but only offers 1GB of 3G/4G data for the entire validity period.

By comparison, a similar offering from Reliance Jio is cheaper at Rs 149, and it too has a validity period of 28 days with unlimited voice calling. However, Jio offers its subscribers 1.5GB of data per day instead of 1GB.

Earlier this month, Vodafone had announced that it was now offering 30GB of 4G data to postpaid subscribers with unlimited calling. Further, users would also get the option to roll over data from the previous month up to 200GB. It would also give users fee access to movie worth Rs 4,000 for one year through the Vodafone Play Service along with a subscription to Magzter for four months.

Vodafone had also announced that it was rolling out VoLTE services in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Gujarat circles. This made it the third telecom operator in the country to do so after Reliance Jio and Airtel.
