Vi announces a new digital exclusive Rs 399 plan for new customers

Vi (Vodafone Idea) has announced a new digital-exclusive plan at Rs 399 for its customers. The plan can be bought by both prepaid and postpaid customers and can only be availed if you order the SIM from the Vi website.

The plan is for customers who want to purchase a new SIM, but only via its website. This means the plan does not benefit the existing customers. The telco is offering two different plans to its postpaid and prepaid customers, where the former comes with more benefits. 

Prepaid SIM buyers will get 56 days validity, with 1.5GB data per day along with 100 SMS per day. Whereas the postpaid customers will get 40GB data and 100 SMS per month. Users can get an additional 150GB data for six months. The pack also offers a data rollover of 200 GB. Both prepaid and postpaid customers will also get Vi Movies and TV subscription.

How to get the Rs 399 offer from Vi?

Customers can get the Rs 399 plan if they purchase a new SIM from the Vi website. Click on 'New connection', then select the connection type between prepaid and postpaid. Once done, select the Rs 399 plan from the list and fill in your personal details on the next window. The customer will then will receive an OTP to complete the order.

Vi has also started the regional rollout of Wi-Fi calling service in the country. The Wi-Fi calling service is said to be rolling out to Maharashtra, Goa and Kolkata circles. The service is expected to be rolled out in a phased manner for more regions. Wi-Fi calling enables users to make and receive calls using the internet connection that improves overall calling experience. Customers from major telcos like Airtel and Jio already have the feature up and running.
