Vi 5G launch date: Vodafone Idea is reportedly planning to launch its much-anticipated 5G services for customers in the coming months. While Jio and Airtel have already introduced 5G plans that are available in almost every circle, Vodafone Idea has yet to announce an official launch date for 5G services.

Jio and Airtel announced their 5G rollout at MWC 2022, with plans to expand their service to both rural and urban areas across the country. Vi will reportedly announce 5G expansion in India soon. Here’s everything we know about Vi’s 5G launch date, coverage, cities, and plans.

Vodafone Idea could roll out its 5G services in select circles by March 2025 with the exact date remains unknown, as per the reports. It also states that Vi 5G will be available in India’s top 75-odd cities across its 17 priority circles. With this move, the company aims to bring back all the customers who have moved to competitors for fast data speeds. The Vi 5G will first roll out in the major cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Chennai. Do note that the company has not confirmed the full list at the time of writing this article.

Vi 5G recharge plans:

According to the reports, the Vi 5G could be 15 percent cheaper at the entry-levels in order to compete with Jio 5G and Airtel 5G. It is worth noting that the company has not confirmed the 5G recharge plans, exact rollout strategy and coverage details at the time of writing this article.

It remains to be seen how Vi 5G will compete with the existing telecom operators with strong networks and infrastructure.
