Reliance Jio has rolled out an innovative annual Unlimited 5G Gift Voucher this year for users with heavy data needs. The new voucher is priced at Rs 601. With this voucher, users can enjoy unlimited 5G data for an entire year. This voucher will be valid for those who already are on compatible recharge plans. Further, you can even share the benefits with friends or family members through gifting options.

What does the Rs 601 voucher include?

The Rs 601 voucher includes 12 individual 5G upgrade vouchers. These can be redeemed via the My Jio app. However, to activate this voucher, users must be on a monthly or quarterly plan that offers at least 1.5 GB of daily 4G data. Eligible recharge plans include Rs 199, Rs 239, Rs 299, Rs 319, Rs 329, Rs 579, Rs 666, Rs 769, and Rs 899. However, if you have a plan that offers only 1 GB of daily data or the Rs 1,899 annual plan, then it is incompatible with that.

Once you activate the voucher, you get a 3 GB daily 4G data limit and truly unlimited 5G usage. The voucher’s validity mirrors the user’s base recharge plan, with a maximum duration of 30 days per activation.

Jio users can purchase the voucher for themselves or gift it to others via the My Jio app. But to give the voucher, make sure that the recipient is subscribed to an eligible base plan.

In addition to the Rs 601 plan, Jio offers shorter-duration 5G vouchers priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151. These plans provide unlimited 5G data for one, two, and three months, respectively, and can be added to the existing plans.
