The discount is applicable when one purchases a new JioFi device with a postpaid Jio connection. The user will need to recharge with Rs 199 postpaid plan for availing a cashback of Rs 500.
Jio has announced a new postpaid plan offer under which a user can now purchase the device with a Rs 500 discount. This brings its effective price to Rs 499, down from Rs 999. However, there are some terms and conditions one needs to keep in mind in order to be eligible to avail the cashback. One needs to buy a new JioFi device and get a postpaid Jio connection. Additionally, they need to consecutively recharge with the Rs 199 postpaid plan for 12 months. After the 12th recharge, users will receive Rs 500 cashback in form of credit and it will be automatically redeemed in subsequent postpaid invoices.
With the Rs 199 postpaid recharge, users will receive 25GB of 4G data, along with unlimited free voice calls and SMS, and access to Jio’s suite of apps like JioTV, JioCinema, and more. The telco had announced its postpaid plan late last month. The offer is applicable from July 3 for Jio Prime subscribers and no last date for availing the benefit has been announced. Also, in September last year, the telco had dropped the price of its JioFi portable router from Rs 1,999 to Rs 999.
The new Jio Postpaid offer comes soon after the telco announced its Oppo Monsoon Offer, which offers up to 3.2TB of data and benefits of up to Rs 4,900. This offer is applicable on all new Oppo phones, except the Realme 1, and one will have to recharge with Rs 198 or Rs 299 prepaid plans to be eligible for the offer. Those who opt for the offer will instantly receive Rs 1,800 in the form of 36 cashback vouchers, along with Rs 1,800 Jio Money in their account in three stages, after the 13th, 26th and 39th recharge.
