BSNL launches Rs 1499 annual prepaid plan with 24GB data, here’s how it compares to Airtel and Vodafone
The BSNL Rs 1499 plan gives users a FUP of 250 minutes calling per day.
The plan has a validity of 365 days.
As a promotional offer for the first 90 days, users get an added 30 days validity.
BSNL has launched a new prepaid plan priced at Rs 1499. The information about the plan comes from the BSNL Chennai circular. The plan brings with it 365 days validity but as a promotional offer, those that recharge within the first 90 days get an additional 30-day validity, bringing the total validity to 395 days. The plan also brings with it 24GB of data and there is no daily limit on the use of the data.
BSNL Rs 1499 prepaid plan details
As we mentioned above, the plan has a validity of a year with a benefit of an additional 30 days if you recharge within the first 90 days. For calling, it has a FUP of 250 minutes outgoing per day including local and STD calling. Users also get a limit of 100 SMSs per day. As far as data is concerned users get a total of 24GB data with the plan. The base plan that a user will need for the Rs 1499 plan is the Rs 94 plan. After the data of 24GB is consumed, data charges as per the base plan are applied.
BSNL isn’t the only one offering a plan priced at about Rs 1500 with one-year validity. Airtel and Vodafone also have similar offerings. So, let’s take a look at them in detail.
Airtel Rs 1498 plan details
The Airtel pack is priced at Rs 1498 and brings with it a validity of 365 days. With this pack, users get 24GB of data with no daily cap, truly unlimited calls and 3600 SMSs. Additional benefits include Airtel Xstream Premium subscription, free Hellotune with unlimited changes, Wynk Music subscription, free online course for 1 year with Shaw Academy and Rs. 150 cashback on FASTag.
Vodafone Rs 1499 plan details
Moving over to Vodafone, the service provider has a plan priced at Rs 1499 with a validity of 365 days and 24GB of data with no daily limit. Users get truly unlimited calling and 3600SMSes, making the features quite similar to the Airtel plan. As additional benefits, users get a subscription to Vodafone Play and ZEE5.
