BSNL launches new Rs 399 prepaid plan with 1GB daily data limit
The Rs 399 BSNL plan comes with a validity of 80 days.
It also has a daily FUP of 250 minutes for outgoing calls.
The new plan is available in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles.
BSNL has introduced a new recharge plan priced at Rs 399. The plan brings with it a validity of 80 days, 1GB daily data limit and a FUP of 250 outgoing minutes. If you cross the 1GB data limit, the speed of the network drops to 80kbps. According to Gadgets 360, BSNL has “discontinued a tariff voucher that was priced at Rs. 399 and a recharge voucher priced at Rs. 1699 in the two circles”. One could interpret this as BSNL replacing the benefits of the Rs 399 plan and discontinuing the Rs 1699 plan.
BSNL Rs 399 prepaid plan details
The information about the BSNL Rs 399 plan comes from BSNL Chennai. Called the FRC/PV-399 the plan is priced at Rs 399. As mentioned above, the plan comes with 1GB daily data limit after which the speed will drop to 80kbps. The plan also gives users unlimited free voice calls in home and national roaming including MTNL network, roaming area of Delhi and Mumbai. However, it must be noted that the FUP limit for calling is set to 250 minutes outgoing minutes (Local + STD + outgoing roaming) per day. So you get a little more than 4 hours of calling per day on this plan. The plan also brings with it a limit of 100 SMSes per day.
Other freebies of the plan include Free BSNL tunes + Lokdhun content. One thing to note is that the base plan that will be considered with the Rs 399 plan is the “Advance Per minute plan 94” plan. Those interested to activate this plan can SMS PLAN BSNL399 to 123 using their BSNL mobile number.
