BSNL's new 'Rakhi pe Saugaat' recharge plan offers unlimited voice calls on its own network. The service also offers 1GB data benefit for a period of five days.
BSNL has announced one more recharge offer for its prepaid customers with unlimited voice calls. The state-owned telecom operator has launched the new 'Rakhi pe Saugaat' recharge plan, with unlimited on-net calls and data plans for its prepaid customers at Rs 74.
With the recharge of Rs 74, BSNL prepaid mobile subscribers can avail unlimited voice calls on the BSNL network and 1GB data benefits, for a period of five days. BSNL customers can avail this recharge plan from today and it will be available for the next 12 days. The recharge plan also offers talk value, making it one of the cheapest tariff plans from the operator. While the new plan is not aimed as competition to Reliance Jio, it will serve as a good value proposition for those looking to recharge with a new plan during the festive period. BSNL is also adding a few combo offers, priced at Rs 189, Rs 289 and Rs 389. The new combo offers will give subscribers 18 percent extra talk time and 1GB of free data.
Since Reliance Jio updated its prepaid plans for its Dhan Dhana Dhan subscribers, BSNL has been offering great plans to compete with the new entrant. It recently announced 'Chauka-444 plan' to counter Jio's revised data plans with 360GB data and validity of 90 days. The pack offers 4GB data per day for 90 days and is only available to the company's prepaid subscribers.
