Airtel Rs 1,999 recharge plan: Data limitation

The plan seems great for the people who prefer calls. However, it only offers only 24GB data for the entire year, which comes down to 2GB data per month. If the user has exhausted the data, additional usage will be charged at 50 paise per MB.

The new Airtel recharge plan comes after the recent tariff hikes by all the major companies including Jio and Vi.Now, it seems that Airtel wants to retain the user base along with luring more customers by offering such affordable plans.

Is the plan worth it?

The plan appears to be a strong offering for users with basic data needs and those who value long-term validity and unlimited calling. The additional benefits, such as access to Airtel Xstream Play and Wynk Music, make it even more appealing. However, if you are heavy internet user, you may need to pay more to get more data.
