Airtel has added two new combo plans that counter similar offerings from Jio. The two new combo offers for its prepaid subscribers are priced at Rs 1,999 and Rs 3,999 respectively. With the new Rs 3,999 combo offer, Airtel's prepaid subscribers will get 300GB data and unlimited local and STD calls for a period of 360 days. The plan also includes unlimited outgoing calls while roaming and 100 SMS per day. The combo offer from Airtel counters Reliance Jio's plan, which offers 350 GB data for a period of 360 days at Rs 4,999.
Airtel's Rs 1,999 combo plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls, free outgoing calls on roaming and 100 SMS per day. However, its data benefit is limited to 125GB and has a validity of 180 days. This particular plan matches Jio's Rs 1,999 plan in which users get 125GB 4G data for 180 days along with unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits.
Airtel says these two new combo offers are valid only from November 7 to December 31 and its prepaid subscribers will get 10 percent cashback on recharging with Mastercard. Further, it will be applicable only if the debit or credit card is registered with Airtel for the first time. In addition, the cashback is applicable only if the recharge is made via MyAirtel App or company's website. Airtel recently refreshed its prepaid and postpaid plans to offer extra data, voice benefits and device protection. It also allows its mobile subscribers to rollover data, where users can carry forward the leftover data to the next month.
