Aircel has announced rolling out 3G services in Mumbai. The operator is offering 3G services on mobile phones as well as via dongles. Aircel's monthly 3G data plans start at Rs. 107
To activate 3G data services, customers need to recharge by opting for a tariff plan or buy an internet pack. The tariff plan offers 3G data benefits, voice calls and upto 300 MB of Free Facebook and Whatsapp, while the internet pack starts from as low as Rs. 13 ( 1 day validity) and 1GB of data for Rs. 195.

Aircel had recently launched 4G services in Tamil Nadu and J&K. The operator claims to be only operator to offer 2G, 3G and 4G LTE services in these two circles.
