ZUK Z2 Pro with Snapdragon 820, 6GB RAM officially announced

ZUK Z2 PRO has a 13MP ISOCELL camera, fingerprint sensor as well as a heart rate sensor.

Lenovo’s subsidiary ZUK, which started operations last year, has now launched its second flagship, the ZUK Z2 pro. The latest phone joins the likes of Vivo Xplay5 Elite, offering a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 at its heart and a whopping 6GB of RAM. The phone was launched in China earlier today and has been priced at 2699 Yuan (Rs. 27,650 approximately). ZUK hasn't announced the availability of the phone outside China at the moment.

The ZUK Z2 PRO sports a 5.2-inch display, offering a 1920 x 1080p resolution. It uses a Super AMOLED display which has a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is clocked at 2.15GHz. There is 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM onboard which is paired with a 128GB UFS2.0 internal storage. A smaller variant of the device was also announced with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone has an all metal build and a 3D floating glass display.

On the camera front, the device makes do with a 13MP rear camera and using a f/1.8 aperture ISOCELL camera. On the front the device has a 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is 4G compatible and will offer dual-SIM capabilities. The device is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It also gets a fingerprint sensor which the company has claimed can unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds and has an accuracy of 99.7%. Besides that, there is a heart rate sensor, UV sensor and a quick charge 3.0 compatible 3100mAh battery.
