Users complained that Amazon's register button for the Yu Yureka smartphone was malfunctioning on Dec 19. Turned out that the website recorded the data correctly.

You’ve been registered for the Micromax Yu Yureka sale to be held on January 13. You’ve read that before haven’t you? That is probably because your failed attempt to register for the phone on Amazon was actually not actually a failure. On December 19, users complained that Amazon’s registration button for the Yureka lead them to the subscription page, with no confirmation about whether they’ve actually been registered. Well, they have.

If you clicked on the button before the registrations were shut down, then you would have received a mail today from Amazon, notifying you that you have been registered for the sale. Amazon’s mail says,

"Thanks for registering for the Yureka Smartphone Sale* to be held on January 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM. You are now eligible to purchase the Yureka smartphone in this sale. To beat the rush, we suggest that you log into your Amazon.in account a few minutes prior to the sale at 2:00 PM on January 13, 2015. Sale will be strictly on first come first serve basis as long as stocks last."

It seems something did go wrong with Amazon’s registration button, but thankfully, it was only on the front end of the website. The data of users who registered seems to have been registered by the website and if you really wanted to buy this phone, then you have the chance now. Better late than never.
