Xolo Q1010i, 5-inch quad-core smartphone launched at Rs. 13,499

The Xolo Q1010i has a 5-inch 720p display, quad-core MediaTek processor and 8MP camera with Exmor sensor.

Xolo has added a new smartphone to its popular Q series. The new smartphone, Q1010i, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat) and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MTK 6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Priced at Rs. 13,499, the smartphone is scheduled to go on sale later this month.

The Xolo Q1010i has a 5-inch IPS display with 1280x 720p resolution. It has an 8MP rear camera with Exmor R sensor and a 2MP front camera. Camera features include Scene detection & tuning, High Dynamic Range (HDR), Low Light enhancement, Face recognition (For focussing as well as in Gallery), Vertical & Horizontal Panorama capture, Geo tagging, Flash Support, Auto Focus and 1080p FHD recording rear.

The smartphone has an 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32 GB. For connectivity, the Q1010i supports 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and USB. The new Xolo smartphone is a variant of the Q1010, which was launched in February this year. The Q1010 features 5-inch 720p display, quad-core processor and 8MP camera.

The Xolo Q1010i is set to compete against the popular Moto G, which has 4.5-inch 720p display, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS (upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat), and a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU along with 1GB RAM. Read: Motorola Moto G Review
