The Xolo Prime is a budget smartphone featuring dual-SIM connectivity, quad-core processor and 5MP rear camera.

Xolo has announced a new smartphone called the XOLO Prime. Priced at Rs. 5,699, the new Xolo Prime comes with glass finish back and is available in four colors- Black, Blue, Red and Gold. It is a dual SIM smartphone with 3G + 3G connectivity options.

The Xolo Prime has a 4.5-inch IPS display with 218 ppi. The smartphone runs Android Lollipop and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It has an 8GB of internal storage. It sports a 5 MP rear camera featuring Auto Focus, scene detection & tuning, Face recognition , panorama, Face beauty, Geo tagging and HDR. The smartphone is powered by an 1,800 mAh battery. The phone comes preloaded with apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook etc.

Prior to the the launch of the Prime, Xolo has launched a 4G smartphone LT2000, featuring 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (64 bit) processor along with 1 GB LPDDR3 of RAM, Android v4.4 KitKat, upgradable to Android 5.0, and 5.5-inch HD display. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,999.

Apart from targeting the 10k segment, Xolo has been focussing on the entry level segment as well. The company had launched the Q520s, a dual-SIM phone for Rs. 5699. The Xolo Q520s supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby. It has a 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Q520s has 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card slot up to 32 GB. It has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front camera.
