Xolo has also joined the selfie bandwagon with its new Opus 3 smartphone, featuring a 5MP wide angle front camera with flash.
Xolo has introduced a new smartphone under its Opus series. Priced at Rs. 8,499, the new Opus 3 features a 5MP front-facing wide-angle camera, taking on a range of budget selfie phones in the market.
The Xolo Opus 3 has a 5-inch IPS 720p display. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The main feature of the phone is its camera – it has an 8MP auto focus rear camera with Sony Exmor R and dual flash – 5P Lens and f/2.0 Aperture, while the front snapper is 5MP 88 degree wide-angle lens, flash and BSI Sensor.
The Xolo Opus 3 has an 8GB built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery.
As said above, several smartphone companies are trying to tap the popularity of selfies with devices with better front facing cameras. In the budget segment, we have Alcatel Flash, Panasonic Eluga S, Lava Selfie 50 and the recently launched Microsoft Lumia 535.
