Xolo One quad-core KitKat smartphone launched at Rs. 6599
The Xolo One will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade. The smartphone will compete against the likes of Spice Dream Uno, Micromax Canvas A1, and Karbonn Sparkle.
Xolo has launched a new budget Android smartphone – Xolo One. Priced at Rs. 6,599, the new Xolo phone supports dual SIM, runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat (upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop) and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The Xolo One has a 4.5-inch with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It has a 5MP main camera and a VGA front facing camera. The smartphone comes with 8GB internal storage, supports additional storage up to 32 GB via microSD.
For connectivity, the Xolo One supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0. The smartphone is powered by a 1700 mAh battery.
The new Xolo One phone will be competing against the newly launched Android One smartphones as well as other budget Android phones in this price range. It's notable Xolo One is not an Android One phone. Recently, Panasonic launched Panasonic T40, 4-inch quad-core phone launched at Rs. 5990.
Huawei has also launched its Honor Holly smartphone that runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Emotion UI and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It has a 5-inch 720p display. It sports 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,999.
