Xolo continues to push its Hive platform with new budget smartphones – Omega 5.0 and 5.5. Both the phones are priced below Rs. 10,000.
Xolo has introduced new Omega smartphones in India. Available in two variants – 5-inch and 5.5-inch – the new Omega phones are powered by MediaTek octa-core processor and XOLO’s proprietary HIVE platform. The Omega 5.0 is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available starting December 10, while the Omega 5.5 is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available from December 20.
The Xolo Omega5.0 has a 5-inch 720p IPS display. It features Hive UI based on Android Kitkat v4.4 and is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa Core Processor with Mali-450MP4 graphics and 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8.0 MP camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and 5P lens, and 2MP front camera. It comes with 8GB internal memory and supports 32GB expandable storage. It is powered by a 2100 mAh battery.
The Xolo Omega 5.5 has 5.5-inch HD IPS display. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa Core Processor with Mali-450MP4 graphics, 1GB of RAM and HIVE Inside built on Android Kitkat v4.4. It is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.
