Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X comes with 4GB RAM and a design similar to the existing Redmi Note series

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, the powerful version of the existing Redmi Note 4 device, has passed TENAA certification in China. The device leaked a few days back, and now, its specifications and features have been detailed on a TENAA's listing page.

The smartphone comes with a design similar to the current generation Redmi Note series, but it gets improvements in terms of overall performance. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and offers options in the form of 32GB or 64GB internal storage. The listing suggests that the Redmi Note 4X is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, but earlier rumours indicated the device will come with Snapdragon 653 processor.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a 13MP primary camera, which seems to be the same image sensor as the one found on the Redmi Note 4. The smartphone is backed by a 4100mAh battery, standard among Redmi Note series now. At this moment, there is no official word from Xiaomi about the existence or imminent launch of the Redmi Note 4X. The TENAA certification only confirms that the product is real and should be made available in China sometime soon.

A recent report indicated that Xiaomi's first big launch in India, in 2017, could be the Redmi Note 4. Xiaomi has already sold over a million units of Redmi Note 3, and the company would be bringing its successor soon. We could also see Redmi Note 4X being made available as a powerful alternative at the same time.
