The discount is being offered by all major e-commerce websites that sell the phone.
The Redmi Note 4G is a 4G capable phone as the name suggests and with telecom operators like Airtel and Reliance pushing for the standard, the phone is set for the near future. The phone offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with a quad-core 1.6GHz processor inside. The Redmi Note also features 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with support for upto 64GB of external storage via a microSD card. The 13MP rear camera is good and it also offers a 5MP front-facing camera as well.
While the display of the Redmi Note 4G could have been better, the battery life was certainly better than its competitors and is still better than most of the new phones. The smartphone may be a little old but with the new price drop, is still a good buy for regular users.
It is rumored that Xiaomi is gearing up for an imminent phone launch. A new Note phone as well as company’s next flagship the Mi5 is in the pipeline and could be announced in the months to come. While the company hasn’t dropped any hints, rumored specs are doing the rounds. The upcoming Note phone is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC. It may retain the 5.5-inch screen size but with an increased resolution of 1080p. And the Mi5 might have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC.
