The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be available for purchase today from Amazon starting 12PM. The company claims that the Redmi Note 4 is India's No.1 selling smartphone and recently slashed its price by Rs 1,000 on all variants of the device.
In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. It is available in three memory variants. The 2GB and 3GB RAM models offer 32GB of storage, and the 4GB RAM variant offers 64GB of onboard storage. The Redmi Note 4 features a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus and support for 720p slow-motion video recording. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, beautification mode and supports 1080p video recording.
In terms of connectivity, it comes with options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and 4G LTE. The handset features a unibody aluminium design and will be available in Black, Gold and Dark Grey colour options. The handset is powered by a 4100mAh battery and the company recently started rolling out the MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat for the smartphone. The device was initially launched with MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As mentioned above, the Redmi Note 4 has received a discount of Rs 1,000 and is now priced at Rs 9,999 for the 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants. The 4GB RAM variant with 64GB ROM will be available at a price of Rs 11,999.
