Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series will go on sale starting today. The smartphone will be available for sale on Mi.com and Flipkart. Xiaomi announced the smartphone in India on January 19 at a starting price of Rs 9,999.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the successor to Redmi Note 3, one of the most popular smartphone from last year. The Redmi Note 4 features a design similar to Redmi Note 3 with a metal unibody and the back slightly curved like the Mi 5. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor aided by options of 2/3/4GB RAM. The storage also varies from 16GB to 64GB depending upon variants.
It seems Xiaomi is only making the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 4GB RAM, 64GB storage model available on today's sale. The smartphone features a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary camera. In our review, we observed that "the rear camera is a definite improvement over its predecessor."
However, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's USP continues to be its battery life. The smartphone packs a 4100mAh battery and in our review, we noted "The battery life is impressive, but not as good as the Lenovo P2." Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be available in Gray and Gold colour variants at the time of launch and Black colour version will be rolled out later.
