Both phones spotted in BIS listing
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series on March 4 in India
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S and Note 10 5G have been spotted listed under the Poco brand on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The Redmi Note 10S and Note 10 5G were launched globally on March 4, the same day Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series in India. The global variants of the Redmi Note 10 series are different from the ones launched in India. The Indian market got the Redmi Note 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro Max while globally, the company has released the Redmi Note 10, 10 Pro, 10S and 10 5G.
According to popular internet sleuths, Sudhanshu Ambhore and Mukul Sharma, the Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 10 5G has been listed by the BIS under the Poco brand. This suggests that both phones could launch as Poco phones in the country. However, we advise our readers to take this with a pinch of salt as it is not known whether Poco plans to bring either of the phones to India.
