Xiaomi could launch the Redmi K30S in China on October 27, according to the latest leaks. The Redmi K30S is touted to be a rebranded Mi 10T as per some posters that have leaked online over on Weibo. The Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were launched in India on October 15 as the latest flagship smartphones from the company.
As per some posters that were posted on Weibo and spotted by PlayfulDroid, the Redmi K30S could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 144Hz refresh rate display and 5,000mAh battery to boot. The poster also hints at the design of the phone and it looks similar to the recently launched Mi 10T. However, Xiaomi is yet to reveal a launch date officially.
Going by the posters, we can see the phone’s rectangular camera module that sits flush with the triple camera array and an LED flash. The Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were launched in India starting at Rs 35,999 and come with 144Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon 865 and triple cameras.
Xiaomi Mi 10T features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera up front. The screen supports 144Hz high refresh rate and is HDR10+ certified as well. The display is also topped by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 as is the back panel.
The Mi 10T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 650 GPU. This is paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 256GB storage options to choose from. The phones run on MIUI 12 based on Android 10, out-of-the-box.
The Mi 10T has a triple camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 123-degree field-of-view and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera housed within the punch-hole cutout.
The Mi 10T has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging out-of-the-box. Xiaomi claims that the phone can go from 0-100% in 59 minutes.
