Xiaomi Redmi 4A with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage goes on sale at Amazon India today
Xiaomi Redmi 4A is an entry-level smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker. The company claims to have sold over 2.5 lakh units of Redmi 4A in India since its launch.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the entry-level smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker will be available for purchase from Amazon India today. The handset will be available today at 12 noon and Amazon India is offering the original Mi cases at Rs 299, Mi headphones at a starting price of Rs 599. The e-commerce giant is also offering Rs 200 promotional credit for Kindle ebooks and Redmi 4A users get 28GB 4G data and unlimited calls from Idea Cellular.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A was announced in March this year at Rs 5,999 and the company claims to have over 2.5 lakh units of the device. The handset sports a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It also offers support for expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Redmi 4A sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and single LED flash. The rear camera supports modes like HDR, panorama and face recognition. The handset also features a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture, face recognition and beautification mode. In terms of connectivity, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It also offers Infrared sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. In our review, we noted that the Redmi 4A offers a sub-par camera but is a decent performer for the entry smartphone segment. The handset is backed by a 3160mAh battery and will be available in gold and dark grey colour options.
