According to a report published by Xiaomiui, Xiaomi may be working on the Xiaomi Pad 6 series. This discovery was thrown to light when reporters at Xiaomiui found two upcoming tablets in the MIUI codes with codenames 'liugin' and 'pipa'. It is believed that these may be the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. The series could hit markets in early 2023, with the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro launching only in China.
According to Xiaomiui, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor (7mn). It’s important to note that the processor is also used on other tablets such as the Lenovo Legion Tab Y700, Oppo Pad, Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro, and the Vivo Pad. It may have a 120Hz refresh rate on the display.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is rumoured to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor (manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process). The tablet may have an AMOLED display along with a 1209Hz refresh rate. It is also rumoured to have an 1880 × 2880 pixel resolution. The tablet will have a quad-speaker setup along with a dual camera (with one of the lenses being a depth sensor).
