On the heels of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Moto Razr 2022, Xiaomi has come up with its Mix Fold 2. This second-generation foldable from Xioami has more parallels with the Z Fold 4. It has a book-like design that sports an 8.02-inch 2K AMOLED display that folds in and on the cover side, you are getting a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel. Beyond the screen, you also have a fine mix of flagship-grade specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and 12GB RAM.
Here’s all you need to know about the Xiaomi foldable:
Xiaomi has engineered the Mix Fold 2 with a waterdrop-like curved hinge that’s said to be 20 percent more durable than the precursor. The crease is thus purportedly more obscure.
The main screen is an 8.02-inch 2K+ LTPO 2.0 AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. As for the cover, the AMOLED panel stretches 6.56-inches diagonally with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The repertoire also consists of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 12GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, a 4500mAh battery, 67W fast charging, 50MP+13MP+8MP triple rear camera setup, a 20MP cover screen camera, MIUI 13 based on Android 12L, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Xiaomi has priced the 12+256GB variant of Mix Fold 2 at 8999CNY (~₹1,05,869). There is the 12+512GB model at 9999CNY (~₹1,17,633), and 12+1TB variant at 11999CNY (~₹1,41,162). The company is yet to reveal plans for markets outside China.
