The foldable season is not over yet as Xiaomi has dropped its new foldable smartphones. Unfortunately, these smartphones are exclusive to China for now and when are they going to launch globally? Well, we don’t know yet. But we do know that Xiaomi has entered the clamshell foldable game. This year, along with the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, the Mix Flip also comes into existence. If this phone goes global, it will directly compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. Among all three, the Xiaomi Mix Flip has the biggest outer display of 4.01-inch. Xiaomi Mix Flip specifications
Let’s talk about its outer display first. The Mix Flip is equipped with a 4.01-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. It supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Xiaomi’s Shield Glass. Moreover, when unfolded, the Mix Flip is equipped with a 6.86-inch foldable AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution as well. It also supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and has 3000 nits of peak brightness.
For performance, this smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. If there’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, there has to be AI features. This phone runs on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS. It is packed with a 4780mAh battery that supports up to 67-watt fast charging.
For photography, you get a dual camera setup on this phone, holding a 50-megapixel main camera along with a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with up to 2x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel shooter.

Price and availability
Xiaomi has dropped this clamshell foldable in China at a starting price of CNY 5,999 for the 12GB and 256GB varian. If we convert it into Indian pricing, it would be Rs 70,000.
