The Xiaomi Mix Evo could be the Snapdragon 835 SoC variant of the bezelless Mi MIX smartphone.
Xiaomi may be working on a new variant of its Mi Mix smartphone with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC inside. Dubbed the Mix Evo, the latest leak states that the rumoured device may run on Qualcomm's MSM8998 SoC, with 4GB RAM, as spotted on Geekbench.
The Geekbench listing confirms that the smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Going by popular speculations, the Xiaomi Mix Evo could be the Snapdragon 835 variant of the bezelless Mi MIX smartphone, which ranked as the most interesting smartphone design of 2016. The smartphone features a 6.4-inch display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.3 percent.
Xiaomi recently introduced a white ceramic variant of the Mi MIX at CES 2017, and the company may be preparing a Snapdragon 835 variant for Mobile World Congress 2017. Nothing else is known about the device at this moment. The company is also likely to debut its 2017 flagship smartphone, Mi 6, at Mobile World Congress next month.
