As reported earlier Xiaomi Mi4 will be launched in China on 22nd July (tomorrow) and as expected it is carrying flagship specs at highly competitive price points. Here's a look at the specifications leaked via an online store.
Xiaomi which launched its Mi3 in India last week will be announcing a new Mi4 tomorrow in China. The Mi4 will come with a 5.5 inch quad-HD display at 2560 x 1440 resolution. It will be powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC clocked at 2.25GHz. The phone will come with 32GB inbuilt storage, no expandable storage support, 3GB of RAM and 3200mAH non-removable battery. It will boast a 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
The Phone will be running MiUI V5 on top of android 4.4 Kitkat. MiUI is a custom UI built by Xiaomi which offers some nifty tricks and has some productivity tools. The biggest plus point in the UI is its customizability with an ever growing theme base. At $499 Xiaomi will be making ripples again, offering excellent core hardware for a lot less compared to flagship Android phones from Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC. Xiaomi has been generating quite a lot of buzz with its market strategy of offering good products at low prices in China. With Xiaomi's recent entry into the India market and announcements of India being an important market for them, we won't be surprised if Xiaomi launches the Mi4 in India soon.
