Xiaomi Mi4 will most likely cost more than Rs. 20,000
It's almost a year late, but the Xiaomi Mi4 will finally be launched in India on January 28.
You have already heard that the Xiaomi Mi4 will be coming to India on January 28. Well, now there’s a rumour about the pricing. Xiaomiworld.com, which is an e-commerce website selling only Xiaomi products, has listed the Mi4 at an INR price of around Rs. 25,000.

That said, the Xiaomi Mi4 is now a generation old, compared to other devices in the market. This would ideally demand a lower price, considering that the same was done with the Xiaomi Mi3 when that device was launched in India. The Mi3 was also a generation behind other flagships, which was possibly a big reason for its ultra-low price tag.

The Mi4 runs on a Snapdragon 801 SoC, which is older than both the Snapdragon 805 and the upcoming Snapdragon 810 processors. This could mean that the Xiaomi Mi4 may come at a price tag of around Rs. 20,000, instead of what is mentioned on Xiaomiworld.com.
The price posted on the above mentioned website is not official though. We called the company and its representatives confirmed that Xiaomiworld's news isn't official. The only thing that is confirmed right now is that The Mi4 will be launched in India on 28 January.
