Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage launched at Rs 12,999

The new variant of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be available on Amazon from September 20 onwards

Xiaomi has launched a new version of its Mi Max 2 phablet in India that offers 32GB of internal storage as opposed to 64GB found on regular model. While the regular model is priced at Rs 16,999, the 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,999. The Mi Max 2 sports the same 6.44-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Both variants come with 4GB of RAM. Amazon India is currently taking registration for the new 32GB variant and first sale will be held on September 20.

The Mi Max 2 features an aluminium unibody design and sports a 12MP primary camera with Sony's IMX386 sensor, f/2.2 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The handset also offers a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs MIUI 8.0, which is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and includes support for split-screen multi-tasking. The handset features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5300mAh battery. Amazon India is currently taking registration for the new 32GB variant and first sale will be held on September 20. Xiaomi had recently updated Redmi Note 4 with a Lake Blue colour variant and added new storage option to Redmi 4A.
