Xiaomi Mi Max 2 receives price cut in India

If you are looking to pick up the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, then this is good news for you. Xiaomi has officially dropped the price of the smartphone by Rs 1000. With the new price, the 32GB Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is available at Rs. 13,999 (launch price Rs 14,999), whereas the 64GB variant of the Mi Max 2 is priced at Rs. 15,999 (launch price Rs 16,999).

Xiaomi VP and Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain Tweeted saying, "BIG now costs less! Announcing a permanent price drop of Rs. 1000 on both variants on #MiMax2." 

The icing on the cake is that if you purchase the phone from Flipkart, you can get an exchange discount of up to Rs. 15,000 in return of your existing handset. Buyers can also opt for the buyback guarantee on Flipkart giving you a guaranteed value of the Mi Max 2. Axis Bank Buzz credit card get an additional five percent discount.

The Mi Max 2 was officially launched in India in July 2017. The smartphone features a 6.44-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. The phone has a 12MP rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a 5MP front camera. A 5300mAh battery powers the entire package. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box skinned with MIUI 8.0.
